Heather Yelland, Founder & Director

Heather is an award-winning ‘people specialist’ and authority in values-based leadership, with global experience helping people and iconic businesses and brands get to the heart of what drives them. Heather believes we all want to love and be loved — and to be known, loved and ‘got’ for who we truly are. Heather respects the importance of structure and clear process — partnering with her clients to explore personal leadership and growth. She is humorous, energetic, powerful, inspirational, challenging, insightful, intuitive, and concise. Heather is also a TedX speaker, long-standing member of the Victorian Association of Family Therapists and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dennis Armfield, Senior Consultant
Dennis, a former Carlton Football Club player with a 10-year AFL career, is celebrated for both his athletic achievements and his community dedication. Awarded the Jim Stynes Medal for his work with Odyssey House, Dennis has built a post-AFL career grounded in service and leadership. His motto, “Live to Give”, fuels his approach to life and work, where he brings a larger-than-life approach to his work and certain magic to all those he serves. Dennis continues to mentor emerging talent, including through his women’s AFL academy and as a local senior coach, inspiring the next generation of leaders.
Jodi O’Connell, Service Coordinator

As our Service Coordinator, Jodi is the glue on the team, brilliantly overseeing client liaison, system development, HR, marketing — and more — while enthusiastically supporting others' growth. Jodi joined The Elevation Company in 2015, took a break in 2019, and returned in 2023, bringing her exceptional administration and business management skills and experience. She’s an inspiring and influential contributor to The Elevation Company team, in a role that allows her to make a meaningful difference, “we walk our talk and really do work strongly from our hearts”, while living in alignment with her highest values.
Maria Saladino, Administration Coordinator
Maria is a heart-centred and highly organised administration professional, bringing warmth, reliability, and precision to every task. With a natural ability to balance compassion with efficiency, Maria thrives in assisting our team to run seamlessly. Known for anticipating needs before they arise, she ensures that daily operations are managed with clarity, care, and attention to detail. Maria is grounded in genuine connection and clear communication, allowing her to build strong, trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Whether coordinating complex schedules, managing confidential information, or streamlining administrative processes, Maria creates order with calm confidence. Inspired by fostering an uplifting environment, she combines professionalism with empathy - bringing trusted support and loving presence to The Elevation Company team.
